  • She was also a junior doctor in the Orbit and Oculoplastic Department of the Luis Sánchez Bulnes Hospital for the prevention of blindness, Mexico F.D. 
  • She is a member of the most important national and international Ophthalmological Societies, such as the Spanish Ophthalmological Society, Spanish Retina and Vitreous Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
  • Resident Medical Intern in the II Ophthalmology Service, Asturias Central University Hospital.
  • Super specialisation in retina and vitreous at the Fernández-Vega Ophthalmologic Institute.
  • Honorary Colleague of the  Department of Surgery and Medical-Surgical Specialisations, University of Oviedo.
  • Author of works and publications in national and international medical journals.
  • She currently works as an Attending Physician at the Retina and Vitreous, Electrophysiology and Visual Rehabilitation Units at the Fernández-Vega Ophthalmologic Institute, and also participates in international clinical tests.
